After spending 10 years vacationing on the Riviera Maya south of Cancun, we decicded to forego the All Inclusives and purchased two units at Cancun Plaza Condominiums (20.5 KM Kukulcan, Hotel Zone, Cancun, QR) in September 2011. This is not a time share. We own the units. Units 4203 and 4204 face the Caribbean Sea with nothing between you and the Sea except a beautiful sandy beach. Below is the view from our balcony.
Cancun is shaped like a "7." Cancun Plaza Condominimum is at the bottom end of the "7."
It is 10 minutes from the Cancun International Airport and is at the low-key end of Cancun. However, it is just a 20 minute bus ride to the Party Zone with world class restaurants up and down Kukulcan Avenue.
